Where does the money raised for CHAT UK go?


 

Children’s Hospices are made up of many different individual charities and an important part of CHAT UK was to find a way to raise money for them all. The leading charity for seriously ill children, Together for Short Lives has a National Fundraising Scheme that does just that! All money raised through CHAT UK will go into the Together For Short Lives National Fundraising Scheme and be shared between all 54 children’s hospices.

How is the money shared?


 

The money is shared between the children’s hospices based on their charitable expenditure on service provision and there is a bottom threshold so no hospice gets too small amount.

Together for Short Lives also receives an allocation of the money, enabling them to continue to campaign for change, impact policy and provide a voice for families across the UK. The money raised gets shared at the end of the year so let’s make 2022 a year to remember!
